What I’m doing now 🌚

This is a section inspired by Derek Sivers and his now page movement. Here I frequently write down my current situation and priorities, allowing anyone to know, quickly and without social media, the activities in which I’m focused right now.

I’m writing this from Sun & Co, a coliving in Jávea (Spain), where I plan to stay until the end of June. For one, I think it’ll serve as a perfect transition time to see how my projects evolve. For another, I can tell I need some social interaction, so a coliving seemed like a great choice to hang out with like-minded people.

I’m currently building Meetlang, a Spanish / German community for language practice. I believe it has so much potential and that a lot of people could benefit from it. I’m having so much fun exploring the possibilities, but at the same time, I’m eager to get over the technical side of it and start focusing on the language exchanges.

Simultaneously, Adrián Herzkovich and I have been working side by side on 40+ League ever since we met on SinOficina’s coliving in September 2020. We launched on early February 1st and it’s been very rewarding to see how our first members are getting value from it and changing their professional outlook for the better.

On top of this two projects, I’ve been getting my first gigs ever since I became freelance a few months back. All this takes up so much of my time and energy, but on the little spare time I have, I’ll probably be devouring the Indie Hackers podcast, headbanging with this Special Providence album, lying in bed with this Gazpacho album, improving my English with Anki flashcards, talking with Concha and Marta on the phone, or walking around the beautiful coasts of Jávea.
